Twenty-three centuries ago, Kautilya set out a blueprint for building a state that endures — not through raw power, but through the patient, unglamorous work of creating and protecting prosperity, or yogakshema. Over the centuries, that thinking was buried beneath its own reputation, remembered more for statecraft's shadows than for its quiet commitment to public good and institutional strength.
This project is an attempt to recover that original intent — to take the Arthashastra's fifteen-book structure out of the archive and put it back into the hands of the people who build, lead and steward institutions today. Not a modernised Kautilya. A legible one.
